Duties

The post will provide support for the extension of the Interim Security Accreditation for the AGS System and extension of the Interim Security Accreditation for the Interconnection of the AGS system with the Bi-SC AIS (NS WAN). The work requires on-site support to provide assessments and reports in the system and security engineering area. The work is essential to extend the interconnection with Bi-SC AIS (NS WAN), which is vital to allow access to AGS products and data for the operational community. The post will also be required to support: the capture of the development of the AGS Automated Identification System (AIS) Integration Increment 2 Type B Cost Estimate; NAGSF CIS Services relocation; and any additional security accreditation support required.

The scope is not limited to the above-mentioned tasks, and may be expanded with additional tasks on an as-needed basis, such as Support to the NAEW FLEP programme.

General project requirements:

  • Frequent coordination with the NCI Agency project manager and staff. This will be conducted mainly via NR AIS/REACH channels.

  • Timely submittal of deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements

  • This post requires an individual who is suitably qualified and experienced in Information Security Engineering;
  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management with a PMP or a Prince2 certification;
  • Nationally recognized/certified Master’s Degree in Management of Security Information;
  • Nationally recognized/certified Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering;
  • Valid security clearance at NATO CTS level. NCIA will also accept a Certificate of Security Obligation initially to expedite the start of work;
  • NATO and/or military experience;
  • Knowledge and experience of NATO or national security accreditation process;
  • Knowledge and/ or experience with NATO Security Investment Programme – NSIP;
  • Knowledge and/or experience of drafting security requirements to support security accreditation projects;
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Security Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing and Incident Management processes;
  • Knowledge and/or experience with drafting and evaluating security architecture projects;
  • Knowledge of cost estimates in NATO service delivery (e.g. NATO Type B Cost Estimate);
  • Knowledge and experience of NATO responsibilities and organization;
  • Motivated, good communication skills, team player;
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Desirable requirements

  • Knowledge and/or experience of NATO Air capabilities;
  • To hold a security certification (e.g. CISM or similar).
