Duties:

  • Plan, implement, and manage assigned projects in compliance with NATO regulations and NCI Agency policies.
  • Perform management and coordination functions essential to project delivery.
  • Understand client requirements, collect data, deliver analysis, and resolve problems.
  • Deliver projects within defined scope, time, cost, and quality tolerances.
  • Identify, plan, and allocate resources to meet project milestones; initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Proactively manage project cash flow and contribute to financial planning and reporting.
  • Coordinate project teams and individuals.
  • Lead meetings and conferences with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Maintain realistic project plans and ensure accurate stakeholder communication.
  • Participate in other project management-related activities.
  • Deputize for senior staff as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 3 years of post-related experience; or at least 10 years of relevant expertise in lieu of a degree.
  • Recognized formal Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE 2 Practitioner, PMP); or equivalent expertise and experience.
  • Recent (minimum 3 years) extensive project management experience in a large-scale IT organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with good briefing capabilities.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proven leadership in C4ISR acquisition projects.
  • Experience with Project Management automation tools (e.g., ServiceNow (SNOW)) and collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of NATO or national governmental acquisition and procurement policies.
