Duties and Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Define, document, and execute small projects or sub-projects.

  • Apply appropriate project management tools and methods.

  • Track activities, manage risks, and engage stakeholders.

  • Deliver projects within scope, time, and budget.

  • Support senior project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Adopt project approaches as defined by Portfolio Manager.

Exercise Coordination

  • Collaborate with exercise planners to assess CIS needs.

  • Evaluate CIS technical and incident management support.

  • Recommend technical solutions aligned with exercise objectives.

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor exercise-related activities.

  • Serve as a single point of contact for exercise stakeholders.

  • Facilitate communication and ensure operational readiness.

  • Build and manage long-term relationships with stakeholders.

  • Capture lessons learned and provide actionable feedback.

Requirements Definition and Management

  • Define and manage requirements for medium-complexity initiatives.

  • Facilitate stakeholder input and prioritization.

  • Establish and maintain traceable requirements baselines.

Risk Management

  • Identify and assess risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and report mitigation strategies.

  • Involve domain experts where necessary.


Requirements

Essential Education & Experience

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience.

    • OR at least 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience:

    • Recent experience managing C4ISR projects within large organizations.

    • Familiar with cost and labor management using project management tools.

  • Certifications:

    • Recognized project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).

    • OR proven equivalent expertise and experience.


Desirable Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with NATO systems, responsibilities, and security policies.

  • At least 5 years in CIS project planning, architecture, and risk governance.

  • Prior work in international (military and civilian) environments.

  • Previous experience coordinating exercises and stakeholder engagement.
