Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing IT infrastructure and support cloud migration strategy

• Design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions and applications

• Manage and maintain secure cloud environments aligned with organizational policies

• Support deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of cloud systems

• Automate and orchestrate cloud platforms and services

• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders; report progress to leadership

• Contribute to best practices and guide cloud engineering activities

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering or similar roles

• Relevant cloud certifications or training

• Strong experience with:

  • Active Directory (ADDS/ADFS), PKI, Group Policies

  • Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP)

  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)

  • Cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, OpenStack)

  • Linux/UNIX environments, Docker

  • Web services, APIs (REST/RPC)

Desirable Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field

• Certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security, OpenStack)

• Programming skills (e.g. Python, Java)

• Experience with PowerShell, databases (SQL/NoSQL, PostgreSQL)

• Familiarity with open-source technologies and system engineering

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams

• Previous NATO experience and knowledge of NATO policies
