Logistician Technician

Key Duties

  • Asset accountability:
    • Maintain and administer CIS asset property accounting records for external customers
  • Logistics support & coordination:
    • Support end-to-end CIS logistics services (requisition, storage, distribution, stock management)
    • Work under the supervision of the Sub-Property Accounting Officer (Sub-PAO)
  • Inventory management:
    • Conduct annual inventory inspections in line with Agency directives
    • Coordinate with account holders
  • Compliance & reporting:
    • Investigate, document, and report equipment discrepancies
    • Ensure adherence to NCI Agency directives
  • Lifecycle logistics:
    • Manage asset lifecycle activities (request, receipt, movement, exchange, disposal)
  • Technical coordination:
    • Liaise with technicians and internal teams to ensure correct equipment is requested
  • Operational execution:
    • Process asset management transactions following SOPs

Requirements (Skills, Experience & Qualifications)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex concepts clearly

  • Demonstrated initiative and proactive mindset with focus on continuous improvement

Professional Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience as a logistician (preferred)
  • Familiarity with NATO systems and applications (e.g., EBA, CNAFS)
  • Understanding of NATO structure, responsibilities, and processes
