Duties

  • Contributes to the organization's budget planning cycle and process.
  • Assists in the collection and preparation of required budget information.
  • Participates in developing and monitoring a budget allocations and execution.
  • Identifies and interprets budget variances and overruns.
  • Monitors and maintains financial records to agreed requirements for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Assists with identifying and calculating process, service, project and component costs for financial planning and budgeting.
  • Collates required financial data and reports for analysis and to facilitate decision-making.
  • Supports managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities.
  • Coordinates and schedules ongoing workforce planning activities.
  • Contributes to the development of workforce plans to meet current and future demand.

  • Engages and collaborates with operational stakeholders as required.
  • Provides administrative support functions to teams and meetings as required.

  • May provide a cross programme view on risk, change, quality, finance or configuration management.

Requirement

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
  • Experience: - experience in portfolio and project management;
  • Experience: - experience in ServiceNow;
  • Experience: - experience in workforce management;
  • Experience: - Work experience in administrative and coordination functions, preferably in the areas of financial management, human resources and/or project management.
  • Experience: - Experience in financial management within a customer-funded environment;
  • Experience: - Experience in planning, preparation and production of budget submissions;
  • Experience: - Experience in budget execution and resource management;
  • Experience: - Experience in preparing, conducting and reporting using statistical sampling methods;
  • Experience: - Knowledge and experience in enterprise resource planning systems, project management processes, procedures and tools.
  • Experience: - Ability to interpret financial data, plan and manage allocated budget
  • Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
