Main duties
-
Manage CIS assets throughout their lifecycle: requisition, receipt, inspection, labelling, storage, distribution, transfer, exchange, movement, and disposal.

Maintain complete and accurate property-accounting records in the logistics management system.

Process and document logistics and asset-management transactions promptly.
-
Monitor deliveries and shipments, checking quantity and quality before issuing equipment to end users.
-
Support warehouse operations and coordinate with logistics staff, technicians, and asset-account holders.

Work with technical personnel to ensure requested ICT/CIS equipment meets operational and user needs.
-
Support periodic and annual inventories, reconcile records, investigate discrepancies, and help resolve them.

Prepare asset-status reports, inventory updates, logistics documentation, and supporting records.

Ensure services comply with applicable policies, procedures, performance standards, and SLAs.
-
Recommend improvements to logistics processes, operational efficiency, and asset accountability.

Work independently with limited supervision and complete additional tasks assigned by the Logistics Section Head.
Expected deliverables

Accurate, current, and auditable CIS asset records.

Timely processing and documentation of all asset and logistics transactions.

Successful support for annual inventory inspections and discrepancy resolution.

Proper handling and distribution of CIS assets throughout the CSU area of responsibility.

Regular reporting on asset status, inventories, and logistics actions.

Logistics services delivered in line with applicable organizational requirements.
Essential requirements

Either:
-
Higher vocational education in a relevant field plus at least 2 years of related experience, or
-
Secondary education plus at least 4 years of related experience.

Vocational training in logistics, supply, or supply-chain management.
-
Understanding of asset-acquisition procedures.
-
Ability to cooperate with technical staff and advise on ICT equipment.
-
Practical experience with Oracle ERP logistics and asset-management modules.
-
Experience compiling, checking, recording, and processing administrative forms and documents in accordance with organizational directives.
-
Ability to work independently in an on-site, international operational environment.
-
Valid NATO Secret security clearance.
Desirable requirements
-
Experience with NATO resource-management tools.
-
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence for Logistics or Microsoft Power BI.
-
Experience working in an international military and civilian environment.
-
Knowledge of NATO’s organization and responsibilities, including ACO and ACT.
-
Knowledge of NATO CIS asset regulations and NATO HQ local logistics rules.
-
Practical proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
