Duties
- Reinvigorate the 0244 NATO HD VTC Facilitator Course, working with the NCI Academy Technical Capability Support Team, NCI Agency Oeiras Enterprise Services staff and NATO Digital Workplace Centre subject matter experts to update training infrastructure and course content
- Support the development of SME in Voice education and training
- Adapt, develop and deliver Voice and VTC courses, learning and performance support activities
- Schedule face-to-face, live online and mobile training team courses, to include allocating tasks to instructors and service providers, technical support, arranging for equipment and facilities
- Maintain, improve and tailor course material, including Course Control Documents, learner assessments and user guides
- Maintain training systems and associated equipment, to include Preventative Maintenance Inspections, routine updates and crisis recovery
- Perform other duties as may be required
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience supporting and implementing static or deployable enterprise CIS and VTC environments of:
- static secure and non-secure VTC operations;
- Configuring, installing and troubleshooting industry standard VTC Endpoints from both Polycom and Cisco;
- Configuring, installing and troubleshooting industry standard VTC Infrastructure Hardware from both Polycom and Cisco, including (Polycom RMX, MGC, RSS and Cisco MSE, Codian);
- AV Control Systems (Crestron, AMX) with a good understanding of AV Systems configuration and monitoring;
- Experience with VTC Scheduling Solutions;
- Polycom Certified Video Engineer or equivalent through experience in a videoconferencing environment or Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent through experience in a network centric environment;
- knowledge of protocols and standards utilized in Voice and Video; SIP, TLS, RTP and Secure RTP and other similar standards;
- knowledge of Voice/Video Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)/Telco provider networks and Cisco routers and switches;
- server infrastructures, including basic networking, storage systems and associated protocols;
- latest virtualization technologies based on VMWare, including hyper converged systems;
- Microsoft Windows Server or Redhat Linux Operating Systems;
- directory, identity and access management consisting of multiple interconnected and federated Active Directory Domains and Forests; and
- Knowledge/Experience of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Root CA/PKI.
