ICT Business Analyst

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyse business needs and map as-is / to-be processes
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements
  • Develop business cases aligned with scope, cost, and timelines
  • Gather and document business & functional requirements
  • Support project delivery by ensuring solutions meet requirements
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders
  • Support procurement and budget-related activities
  • Contribute to project meetings and provide regular reporting
  • Assist with business process re-engineering (BPR) and change management

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Information Systems
    • Business Administration
    • or related field

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ICT Business Analysis
  • Strong experience in:
    • Business process modelling (BPMN, BABOK)
    • Functional analysis (use cases, data flows, process mapping)
    • Requirements gathering and documentation
  • Experience working in international environments
  • Ability to understand and evaluate technical solutions

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Business analysis methodologies
    • Project management frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2)
  • Good awareness of technology trends and solutions
  • Ability to:
    • Translate business needs into technical requirements
    • Assess risks and recommend solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong report writing and documentation abilities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in AI solution analysis or implementation
  • Experience in international or governmental organisations (e.g. NATO)
  • Experience running workshops, meetings, and presentations

Other Key Requirements

  • Active NATO SECRET clearance (mandatory)
  • Fluent English (advanced level required)
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Brussels
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
