Integration & Deployment Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Integration & Deployment Engineer responsible for designing, integrating, deploying, and supporting complex enterprise applications across development, test, staging, and production environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system integration, deployment automation, infrastructure management, DevSecOps practices, PKI, HSM integration, and secure application delivery.

This role requires close collaboration with software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable deployment of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

System Integration & Application Deployment

• Design and implement integrations between enterprise applications, infrastructure components, data sources, and third-party systems.
• Configure and maintain application environments across multiple deployment stages in cloud, on premises and hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot integration issues involving APIs, web services, databases, middleware, and security services.
• Troubleshoot application performance issues and perform deep analysis of system and event logs to identify root causes.
• Support integration of identity, authentication, authorization, and certificate-based solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities for application services, and identify potential issues based on performance and monitoring data.
• Create and maintain deployment and integration documentation.
• Manage deployment schedules, release activities, and rollback procedures.
• Configure application servers, middleware platforms, and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform installation, upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Validate deployment readiness and production implementation activities.

Security Integration and Maintenance

• Integrate applications with enterprise system monitoring, log management, vulnerability assessment, and anti-malware services.
• Integrate applications with enterprise identity and access management services to include OIDC, SAML, and PKI based authentication.
• Implement and manage TLS connection security between web application components, and client systems
• Support integration with PKI and HSM-backed credential management solutions.
• Implement secure key management and certificate lifecycle practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity requirements.

Environment Management

• For on premises deployment support systems and services in a VMware based infrastructure comprising of Windows and Red hat OS platform.
• For Azure deployment, support the assigned infrastructure services and components required to provision and operate the application services.
• Maintain development, integration, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
• Coordinate environment refreshes and data migration activities.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 7 years of experience in system integration, deployment, and infrastructure engineering.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale application deployments.
• Strong understanding of software release management processes.
• Strong understanding of application and network security, and database services.
• Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

• Deployment & Automation: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
• Source Control: Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, Bitbucket
• Cloud Technologies: Experience deploying and supporting applications within Microsoft Azure: Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Networking
• Middleware & Integration Technologies: Apache Tomcat, NGINX, Apache HTTP Server
• API Integration: REST APIs, SOAP Services, OpenAPI / Swagger, API Gateway Solutions
• Messaging Platforms: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
• Security, PKI & Cryptography: 509 Certificates and Lifecycle Management, CRL Management, OCSP Validation
• HSM Experience: Thales Luna HSM, Entrust nShield, Azure Managed HSM
• Identity & Access Management: Experience integrating enterprise applications with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, LDAP, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Monitoring & Observability: Splunk, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating credential management systems, identity solutions, or PKI infrastructures.
• Experience supporting highly available and mission-critical systems.
• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
