Duties
Under the direction of CSE Yeovilton Head the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:
- Assists in the administration and maintenance of NCI Agency CIS Assets Property Accounting
- Assists in the conduction of Annual Inventory Inspections in accordance Agency Directives
- Assists with CIS equipment discrepancies to be fully investigated, documented, and reported in accordance with NCI Agency directives.
- Assists in the Requisitioning, Receipt, Storage, Distribution, Exchange, Movement and Disposal of CIS Assets within the CSE
- Coordinates closely with technicians to ensure that the correct CIS equipment is requested to satisfy the user's requirement.
- Responsible for Asset Management transaction requests and following NCI Agency Directives and CSSC Standard Operating Procedures for ordering CIS equipment.
- Will optimize logistic processes at the site.
- Will streamline storage of CIS assets at the site.
- Will manage visitor requests to the site.
- Customer Service Desk activities: recording user problems and opening tickets
- 1st Level IT support for printers, projectors, telephones, video conferencing, cabling, UPS batteries,
- System administration of Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Level 1 administration of Telephone PABX
- Management of IOS devices using MDM
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Vocational training at middle level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, or Diploma of secondary education in Supply, Logistics or Supply Chain Management with 3 years of experience.
- Workstation System Administration
- Administration of Mobile Device Manager
- PABX Administration
- Microsoft Excel advanced skills such as Slicing
- IT Service Desk Support
Desirable Qualifications and Education
- Knowledge of NATO Logistics Regulations.
- Practical experience in the use of PC based resource management tools.
- General knowledge of ADP and telecommunications assets.
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization.
- ITIL v3 Foundation
- Knowledge of Audio\visual systems
Place of Work and Working Hours
The services under this contract shall be performed primarily onsite at the designated Agency location.
The mandatory working time shall be 38 hours per week, to be performed 0830 – 1700hrs Mon – Thurs; 0830 – 1500hrs Fri, in
accordance with Agency practices. A daily unpaid lunch break shall be taken in line with applicable local regulations and Agency practices. Remote work may be authorized on an exceptional basis, subject to project requirements and prior approval by the Agency.
When remote work is authorized, the Contractor shall
• maintain reliable communication with the Agency,
• remain available during the agreed working hours, and ensure secure access to all required Agency systems, networks, and documentation platforms.
All access and connectivity shall comply with applicable Agency security regulations, information assurance policies, and data
protection requirements. Use of Agency Vehicles Where required for official duties and subject to prior authorisation
by the Agency, the Contractor may be permitted to operate Agency vehicles. Any such use shall be undertaken at the Contractor's
sole responsibility and in compliance with applicable Agency rules and traffic regulations. The Contractor shall remain fully liable for
any incidents, damages, or claims arising from the use of Agency vehicles, in accordance with the contract terms and the
Contractor's insurance coverage.
