Duties

  • Resolve network-related tickets within agreed SLAs.
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality network data and metadata.
  • Register and manage network names, IP addresses, and configuration data.
  • Extract, deduplicate, match, combine, and maintain data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Assign addressing and enterprise names to infrastructure designs.
  • Help project teams integrate configuration items into NATO repositories.
  • Automate network configuration data and telemetry collection.
  • Review change requests and audit device configurations against approved baselines.

Essential requirements

  • Relevant vocational training plus 3 years’ experience, or secondary education plus 5 years’ experience.
  • At least 3 years in network support, DDI, or IP address management.
  • Strong knowledge of IPv4/IPv6 subnetting, DNS, IP, and routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP, IS-IS, and BGP.
  • Familiarity with network automation or programming languages.
  • Experience processing change requests and auditing network configurations.
  • Knowledge of WANs, LANs, firewalls, MPLS, and multicast networking.
  • CCNA DevNet, JNCIA, or equivalent practical experience.
  • NATO Secret clearance.

Desirable background

  • Military network IP management and NATO operational experience.
  • Experience with IPAM databases and NCIA service-request processes.
  • Knowledge of NATO deployable CIS assets, ACO, and ACT.
  • RIPE NCC LIR training.
  • Experience producing NATO user documentation.
  • Experience in an international military-civilian environment.

Location: Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium
Travel: Up to 50 temporary-duty days within Belgium annually
Other: Some work outside normal hours may be required.
