Main Duties
- Support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio/Visual (A/V) services for NATO customers.
- Provide VIP VTC support to senior military leaders (Flag Officers/General Officers) and headquarters staff.
- Coordinate VTC and A/V requirements with customers and ensure services are delivered according to agreed standards.
- Support NATO-wide VTC operations and connectivity across the Alliance.
- Act as a technical point of contact for VTC and A/V equipment in North America.
- Provide first- and second-line technical support for VTC and A/V systems.
- Install, maintain, upgrade, and replace VTC and A/V equipment when required.
- Support field engineering activities and infrastructure modernization projects.
- Assist with management of industry support contracts.
- Travel to other NATO locations when needed.
Essential Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a VTC and Audio/Visual Technician.
- Experience planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting:
- Video conferencing systems
- Audio/Visual equipment
- Voice and data communication equipment
- Experience with simultaneous interpretation systems.
- Experience in customer support environments.
- Experience handling technical incidents and problem management.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working in international military/civilian environments.
- CCNA certification.
- Polycom Certified Videoconferencing Engineer (PCVE).
- InfoComm AV Installation certification.
- NATO HD VTC Facilitator certification.
- Knowledge of Crestron and Extron control systems.
