Main Duties

  • Support Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Audio/Visual (A/V) services for NATO customers.
  • Provide VIP VTC support to senior military leaders (Flag Officers/General Officers) and headquarters staff.
  • Coordinate VTC and A/V requirements with customers and ensure services are delivered according to agreed standards.
  • Support NATO-wide VTC operations and connectivity across the Alliance.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for VTC and A/V equipment in North America.
  • Provide first- and second-line technical support for VTC and A/V systems.
  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and replace VTC and A/V equipment when required.
  • Support field engineering activities and infrastructure modernization projects.
  • Assist with management of industry support contracts.
  • Travel to other NATO locations when needed.

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a VTC and Audio/Visual Technician.
  • Experience planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting:
    • Video conferencing systems
    • Audio/Visual equipment
    • Voice and data communication equipment
  • Experience with simultaneous interpretation systems.
  • Experience in customer support environments.
  • Experience handling technical incidents and problem management.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in international military/civilian environments.
  • CCNA certification.
  • Polycom Certified Videoconferencing Engineer (PCVE).
  • InfoComm AV Installation certification.
  • NATO HD VTC Facilitator certification.
  • Knowledge of Crestron and Extron control systems.
