Project Manager
Key Duties
Project Management
- Manage projects from initiation through delivery and transition into service.
- Develop project plans, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and communication plans.
- Monitor progress, costs, resources and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
- Manage project risks and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead project teams and provide regular project status reports.
- Prepare project proposals based on customer requirements.
- Support senior project managers and contribute to portfolio activities.
Requirements & Risk Management
- Gather, define and prioritize project requirements.
- Maintain requirements traceability and stakeholder agreement.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
- Engage technical specialists when required.
Contract Management
- Support supplier and contract management activities.
- Monitor contract performance and produce standard reports.
Other
- Deputize for Senior Project Managers when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Physics, Electronics or a related scientific discipline plus 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of relevant professional experience without a degree.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification (or equivalent demonstrated experience).
- Recent (within the last 3 years) experience managing C4ISR projects or development projects in a large organization.
- Experience with project management tools, cost control and resource management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience working in an international military/civilian environment.
- Knowledge of NATO structures and organizations (ACO/ACT).
Location & Contract
- Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium
- Work Pattern: Full-time, 100% on-site
- Travel: Occasional TDY within Belgium (approximately once per month)
Security Clearance
- A valid NATO Secret Security Clearance is required.
