Duties
Develop enterprise, solution, and domain architectures for business, infrastructure, and functional areas.
Design and maintain system-of-systems architectures in complex federated environments.
Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies using SysML and architecture modelling tools.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on solution design, systems integration, and interoperability.
Define and govern integration architectures, APIs, interfaces, and microservices.
Evaluate technical change requests, deviations from architecture standards, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Ensure compliance with NATO architecture frameworks, interoperability standards, and security policies.
Support cloud-native and hybrid deployment architecture initiatives.
Produce architectural documentation, models, interface specifications, and technical governance artefacts.
Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and programme management to ensure architectural consistency and alignment.
Promote and enforce architecture governance, standards, and best practices across projects.
Mandatory Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline with significant IT content.
Alternatively, at least 5 years of extensive and progressively responsible experience in architecture-related roles may compensate for the absence of a degree.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of post-degree experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or systems architecture.
Proven experience designing architectures within complex enterprise or federated environments.
Experience with architecture governance and technical standards.
Experience designing integration solutions across multiple systems.
