Duties
Distribution & Inventory Management
- Support Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) processes and operations
- Maintain inventory and item records; ensure optimal stock levels
- Coordinate inventory activities across locations and resolve conflicts
- Monitor inventory reports and address issues
- Minimize bottlenecks and delays impacting operations
- Provide guidance on inventory management practices
Logistics Management
- Develop and analyze logistics plans for production, distribution, and inventory
- Improve logistics processes through planning and prioritization
- Monitor shipment status (tracking, transit, delivery timelines)
- Support contract negotiations and liaise with carriers
- Advise on logistics processes and operational requirements
Supply Chain & Warehouse Management
- Support supply chain analysis and identify improvement opportunities
- Assist integration of supplier/partner transactions
- Perform warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping)
- Track warehouse KPIs and support system improvements
- Maintain warehouse equipment and facilities
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain NCIA CIS asset and property accounting records
- Support customer logistics requirements under SLAs
- Execute and coordinate annual inventory inspections
- Analyze and improve asset management system deficiencies
- Monitor inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Process requisitions and receiving via EBA system
- Handle shipping/receiving between CSSC, distributors, and stakeholders
Requirements
- Education:
- Higher vocational training or secondary education
- Experience:
- 2–4 years in supply, logistics, or supply chain management
- Desirable Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience with Oracle EBA or CNAFS
- Asset Management training (IPSAS, CAMP)
- Knowledge of NATO logistics regulations
- Experience in international (military civilian) environments
- Understanding of NATO structure (ACO/ACT)
- Other:
- NATO Secret clearance required
- Full-time on-site in Norfolk, VA (US)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong English (written and spoken)
- Equivalent NATO Grade: G10
