Main Duties
- Manage and maintain Deployable CIS (communications and information systems) services.
- Ensure systems are available, operational, and meet SLA requirements.
- Manage Configuration Management and Change Management processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and address equipment/software obsolescence.
- Support planning and management of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) budgets.
- Manage contractor support and service delivery.
- Prepare reports and contribute to SLA reviews.
- Support projects through development, delivery, and transition into service.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate technical teams.
- Maintain system documentation, training materials, and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree 3 years relevant experience, or
- 10 years relevant experience without a degree.
- ITIL Foundation and Intermediate certifications (or equivalent newer ITIL certifications).
- Experience in:
- IT service management
- Operations and maintenance of IT/CIS systems
- Configuration Management
- Change Management
- Budget and resource planning
- Team leadership and mentoring
- Report writing and presentations
Desirable Qualifications
- ITIL Expert / Managing Professional.
- PRINCE2 Foundation or PMP.
- MSP Foundation.
- Management of Risk (MoR) Foundation.
- Experience leading technical or operational teams.
- Knowledge of military telecommunications and information systems.
- Experience in international military/civilian environments.
- Knowledge of NATO organizations (ACO/ACT).
