Key Duties
- Support innovation initiatives and identify sourcing opportunities across the organization
- Assist in implementing Agile practices and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with governance frameworks and innovation strategies
- Contribute to business cases, budget estimates, and process design
- Drive service improvements using KPIs and performance metrics
- Monitor process and technology evolution and support adoption of new methods
- Assist in implementing automation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain the Continuous Improvement (CI) Register and support governance boards
- Support risk management activities (identification, assessment, mitigation)
- Contribute to documentation of risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Participate in project lifecycle activities (requirements, planning, transition to operations)
- Help define acceptance criteria and support project handover to operations
- Coordinate corrective actions and stakeholder engagement during transitions
- Provide backup support to senior staff when required
Key Requirements
Education & Experience
- Higher vocational training 2 years experience, OR
- Secondary education 4 years relevant experience
Core Skills & Experience
- Experience with ITIL Service Operations processes (preferably in an operations centre)
- Experience working in large, matrixed organizations
- Ability to analyze business processes and support improvements
- Experience in project support and documentation
- Exposure to business process change and continuous improvement execution
- Good understanding of IT / Telecom / Network technologies
Certifications (Desirable)
- PRINCE2 Foundation / Agile PM
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation
- ITIL CSI or Six Sigma Green Belt
- Business Analysis certifications
Additional Desirable Experience
- Experience in international (military/civilian) environments
- Knowledge of NATO structures (ACO / ACT)

- Location: Mons, Belgium
- Work setup: 100% on-site (secured/underground environment)
- Start: End May 2026 → End December 2026
- Workload: 800 hours (~part-time / ~4–5 months equivalent)
- Working conditions: Possible shift work
- Travel: Limited (up to 4 trips/year within Belgium)
- Security Clearance: NATO Secret required
