Senior Technician

Key Duties

  • Operate within a 24/7 shift environment supporting real-time systems
  • Perform real-time monitoring and event detection across CIS infrastructure
  • Handle incident response, including coordination and escalation
  • Provide Level 1 technical support using command-line and engineering tools
  • Support reactive event handling to ensure service continuity
  • Work in secured/underground environments as required
  • Participate in shift-based operations and occasional travel (TDY)

Key Requirements

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially:
    • Incident Management
    • Problem Management
    • Event Monitoring
  • Experience with monitoring and performance tools, such as:
    • Zabbix
    • Spectrum
    • Truesight
    • NGenius
    • Performance Center
  • Basic CIS (Communications & Information Systems) engineering knowledge
  • Ability to provide first-line (L1) technical support
  • Strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, operational environments
