Main Duties
- Gather, define, prioritize, and manage business and technical requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into solutions.
- Support system and software development projects, ensuring delivery aligns with standards, security, and business objectives.
- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and future development plans.
- Support system integration activities, testing, and configuration of technical solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, customers, architects, and project teams to ensure smooth transition of requirements into projects.
- Analyze business and technical problems and contribute to solution design.
- Promote standardization, quality, modern technologies, service-based approaches, and outsourcing of commodity services.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and technical stakeholders.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Deputize for senior staff when required.
Essential Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of relevant experience; or
- 6 years of relevant professional experience in place of a degree.
Experience
- ICT solution design, software development, or system delivery planning for large C4ISR projects.
- Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies.
- Developing technology roadmaps.
- Managing relationships with technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills.
- Facilitating technical discussions with multidisciplinary teams.
- Presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Qualifications
- Process analysis and business analysis techniques.
- Needs assessment, specification development, planning, and gap analysis.
- Knowledge of:
- TOGAF
- ArchiMate
- ITIL
- COBIT
- CISSP (or equivalent frameworks)
- Experience with military C4ISR requirements capture, analysis, and specification development.
