Duties & Role:

Software Development Support in Delivery of Integrated Command and Control (ICC) Related Gap Capability Work Packages

Essential:


Recent experience in:
Development, deployment, and maintenance of server-side logic:

  • proficiency in Java and Python,
  • solid SQL knowledge and data schema design,
  • good understanding of Git for code versioning,
  • CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab,
  • rigorous automated testing,
  • experience with Linux operating system,
  • experience with container engines (Podman/Docker).


Translation of UI/UX designs into responsive web applications:

  • experience with web application frameworks like Angular or React

Legacy application experience:

  • debugging issues in older code bases,
  • modernizing legacy systems.

Desirable:

  • Recent experience with Hibernate, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Ansible, Kubernetes, event streaming platforms; experience with Command and Control applications, recent experience with Spring framework, Familiarity with ICC.
