Main Duties

  • Develop and maintain NATO's cloud-based cyber threat intelligence platform.
  • Build and improve Python applications, APIs, and custom platform extensions.
  • Develop and maintain AWS cloud services, Docker containers, Kubernetes deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate and process large volumes of cyber threat intelligence data.
  • Work with Cloud Engineers, Threat Researchers, and Data Scientists to implement new features, including AI/LLM capabilities.
  • Ensure code quality, security, documentation, and platform performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, status meetings, and continuous platform improvements.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience with relevant certifications).
  • Experience with software development best practices, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Good Linux, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes knowledge.
  • Experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, ALB/NLB) and cloud architecture.
  • Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred: Experience with full-stack development, Azure, cybersecurity/intelligence, and Storm Query Language (Synapse Vertex).
