Duties

  • Configure, administer, and optimize Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service.
  • Monitor platform performance, availability, backups, logs, and system health.
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support and assist Level 1 support teams.
  • Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests using ITIL processes.
  • Perform Power BI patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, and service teams to resolve issues.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Build and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and reporting solutions.
  • Migrate existing dashboards from other reporting platforms into Power BI.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, technical documentation, and architecture documentation.
  • Develop operational reports, KPI reports, and service performance metrics.
  • Deliver end-user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Mentor Power Users and support self-service BI adoption.
  • Participate in daily status meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder coordination activities.
  • Ensure compliance with NATO security, governance, and service management standards.

Mandatory Requirements

Security

  • NATO SECRET clearance.

Experience

  • 5 years in large-scale business application implementations.
  • 3 years Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service administration.
  • 3 years Power BI development (reports, dashboards, DAX, data modelling).
  • 5 years Microsoft SQL Server (2014 ) including SQL and ETL.
  • 2 years data modelling (star/snowflake schemas).
  • 2 years ITIL-based L2/L3 support experience.
  • 2 years working in Agile environments.

  • Knowledge of NATO, ACO, and ACT structures.
