Role Overview
Technician (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) supporting end-user IT, systems, and basic network operations in an on-site environment (Mons, BE).
Key Duties
1. Workstation Deployment & Asset Management
- Prepare, configure, and deploy devices (imaging tools)
- Maintain inventory of hardware and peripherals
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues (Windows 10/11)
- Handle drivers, BIOS settings, and peripherals
3. Identity & Access Management
- Manage users, groups, and permissions (Active Directory / Entra ID)
- Support password resets and MFA setup
4. Software & Endpoint Management
- Support Office, Adobe, and business apps
- Perform patching and remote software deployment
- Ensure endpoint compliance (per cyber team)
5. Network Support
- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues (basic level)
6. Cyber & Security Support
- Execute patching and cyber hygiene tasks
- Support security remediation actions
7. General Support
- Assist with local IT projects as needed
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Higher vocational training 2 years relevant experience
OR - Secondary education 4 years relevant experience
- Background in technical support/helpdesk roles
Skills & Knowledge
Technical
- Strong Windows 10/11 (Pro/Enterprise) support
- Active Directory & Group Policy (GPO)
- Basic networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Soft Skills
- Clear communication with non-technical users
- Fluent English (spoken & written)
