Role Overview

Technician (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) supporting end-user IT, systems, and basic network operations in an on-site environment (Mons, BE).

Key Duties

1. Workstation Deployment & Asset Management

  • Prepare, configure, and deploy devices (imaging tools)
  • Maintain inventory of hardware and peripherals

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues (Windows 10/11)
  • Handle drivers, BIOS settings, and peripherals

3. Identity & Access Management

  • Manage users, groups, and permissions (Active Directory / Entra ID)
  • Support password resets and MFA setup

4. Software & Endpoint Management

  • Support Office, Adobe, and business apps
  • Perform patching and remote software deployment
  • Ensure endpoint compliance (per cyber team)

5. Network Support

  • Troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues (basic level)

6. Cyber & Security Support

  • Execute patching and cyber hygiene tasks
  • Support security remediation actions

7. General Support

  • Assist with local IT projects as needed

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Higher vocational training 2 years relevant experience
    OR
  • Secondary education 4 years relevant experience
  • Background in technical support/helpdesk roles

Skills & Knowledge

Technical

  • Strong Windows 10/11 (Pro/Enterprise) support
  • Active Directory & Group Policy (GPO)
  • Basic networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP

Soft Skills

  • Clear communication with non-technical users
  • Fluent English (spoken & written)
